Jersey Shores Timber Frame Home

Jersey Shores is a 3600 square foot, waterfront, douglas fir timber frame home. This project, like many waterfront lot property renovations consisted of the removal of two old camps that were part of a group of waterfront cottages. The design of this timber frame home is meant to complement the existing cottages and to act as the “main lodge” for this unique piece of property, owned by a family with grown children. This custom timber frame home features SIP panels, which serve as this home’s super-efficient structural walls and roof, as well as detailed stone work with round field stone on both the outside porch piers and the inside fireplace. These features only add to this lakefront timber frame home’s uniqueness.
